JMU has awarded a contract to TapHere! Technology, LLC from Haymarket, VA for software development services to create connectors between MDID and other services including ARTstor, Flickr, PowerPoint, and Blackboard.
This work is funded by an IMLS grant titled "Making Connections: Linking MDID to Other Digital Image Systems and Tools."

We just got Blackboard on an all campus sitewide contract. Very interested in how development is going to connect MDID to Blackboard. Any news? Maybe I'm missing updated documentation on new MDID3?
ReplyDeleteWe did a proof-of-concept Blackboard building block for the grant, but right now it is on hold while we get the more basic functionality for MDID 3 done.
